兒童事工 Children’s Ministry
1. 我們的使命 | Our Mission
華人福音堂兒童事工以聖經為根基、以耶穌基督為中心，盼望在教會與家庭的共同參與下，為孩子提供一個安全、溫暖、充滿喜樂的成長環境。
我們盼望孩子從小認識神、認識聖經，學習敬畏神、愛神、愛人；認識自己在基督里的身份，明白自己是神所愛的兒女，是耶穌基督的跟隨者。我們也盼望通過敬拜、聖經教導、禱告、團契、服事和豐富的活動，幫助孩子在信仰中不斷成長，並學習在生活中信靠神、跟隨神。
我們相信，兒童的信仰成長不僅發生在課堂里，也發生在家庭和教會彼此同行的過程中。因此，我們重視老師、志願者和家長之間的合作，一同陪伴孩子認識基督、經歷神的愛，並為他們一生跟隨主預備道路。
“我們不將這些事向他們的子孫隱瞞，要將耶和華的美德和他的能力，並他奇妙的作為，述說給後代聽。” 詩篇 78:4
The Children’s Ministry at Chinese Gospel Church of Massachusetts is Bible-centered and Christ-centered. Through the partnership of the church, teachers, volunteers, and parents, we seek to provide children with a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment where they can grow in faith.
We desire for every child to know God, learn His Word, and understand their identity in Christ—that they are loved by God, children of God, and followers of Jesus. Through Bible teaching, worship, prayer, fellowship, service, and special activities, we seek to help children grow in their faith and learn to trust and follow God in everyday life.
We believe that children’s faith formation happens not only in the classroom, but also through the partnership between church and family. Together, we seek to walk alongside children as they discover God’s love, grow in His Word, and build a lifelong foundation of faith.
“We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done.” Psalm 78:4
2. 我們的異象 | Our Vision
我們盼望每一個來到兒童事工的孩子都能夠:
- 認識神，認識祂的話語 — 從小建立在神話語上的信仰根基。
- 認識耶穌，跟隨基督 — 明白福音，認識自己在基督里的身份。
- 在敬拜與禱告中親近神 — 學習用生命回應神的愛。
- 在愛的群體中成長 — 與老師、同伴和教會建立健康、真實的關係。
- 在生活中活出信仰 — 學習愛神、愛人，並在日常生活中信靠和順服神。
- 與家庭一起成長 — 讓教會與家庭成為孩子信仰成長的夥伴.
We desire to help every child:
- Know God and His Word — Build a strong foundation in Scripture.
- Know Jesus and follow Christ — Understand the Gospel and their identity in Christ.
- Grow through worship and prayer — Learn to respond to God’s love with their lives.
- Grow in a loving community — Build meaningful relationships with teachers, peers, and the church.
- Live out their faith — Learn to love God, love others, and trust and obey God in daily life.
- Grow together with their families — Partner with parents in nurturing children’s faith.
3. 我們的事工 | Our Ministries
主日學：
主日學以聖經教導為核心，根據不同年齡階段提供適合孩子的學習內容。我們希望孩子不只是“知道聖經故事”，更能夠認識神的話語，並思考聖經如何與自己的生活產生聯繫。
各班具體時間地點請看每週周報。
兒童敬拜：
我們通過詩歌、禱告和聖經主題，引導孩子學習敬拜神，並幫助他們逐漸建立屬於自己的敬拜和禱告生活。我們也鼓勵不同年齡的孩子彼此學習、彼此陪伴，在教會群體中一起成長。
Awana 兒童聚會：
周五兒童聚會通過聖經學習、詩歌、遊戲、手工和團體活動，讓孩子在輕鬆、喜樂的環境中認識神的話語，並把所學的真理帶進生活。
聚會時間：每週五晚 7 :45；教會。
VBS 暑期聖經學校：
VBS通過聖經故事、音樂、遊戲、手工和團隊活動，讓孩子在一個充滿喜樂的環境中學習聖經、認識耶穌，也邀請更多家庭認識教會。我們也珍惜青少年和成人同工參與 VBS 的機會，讓不同年齡的弟兄姐妹一起服事下一代。
家庭活動與特別聚會：
兒童事工也通過家庭崇拜、節慶活動、家庭聚餐以及其他特別活動，創造孩子、家長和教會彼此連接的機會。我們盼望兒童事工不只是孩子每周來“上課”的地方，而是成為孩子和家庭一起經歷教會生活、建立關係、認識基督的地方。
Sunday School:
Age-appropriate Bible teaching that helps children learn God’s Word and connect biblical truth with everyday life.
Time: Please refer to weekly周報 for detail schedules。
Children’s Worship:
Worship through Scripture, songs, and prayer, helping children grow in their relationship with God and develop a life of worship and prayer.
Awana:
A Friday children’s program combining Bible learning, songs, games, crafts, and fellowship in a joyful environment.
Time: Every Friday at 7:45 pm; at church.
Vacation Bible School (VBS):
A special summer program where children explore biblical truths through Bible stories, music, games, crafts, and teamwork, while welcoming new families into our church community.
Family & Special Events:
Family worship, fellowship, holiday celebrations, meals, and other activities that create opportunities for children, parents, and the church family to grow together.
4. 安全與關懷 | A Safe & Caring Environment
我們重視每一個孩子的安全和需要。兒童事工採用 Church Center App 進行 Check-in 和 Check-out，並設有指定出入口，幫助我們建立清楚、完整的兒童出入記錄，同時加強與家長之間的溝通。
我們也致力於為孩子提供整潔、有序、溫暖的教室環境，讓孩子能夠安心學習、參與和成長。
在孩子面對行為或人際挑戰時，我們不僅關注行為本身，也希望按照聖經的原則幫助孩子學習認識情緒、解決衝突、尊重他人，並在愛與引導中成長。
The safety and well-being of every child are important to us. We use the Church Center App for check-in and check-out and maintain designated entrances and clear communication with parents.
We also seek to provide clean, organized, and welcoming classrooms where children can feel safe, known, and cared for.
When children experience behavioral or social challenges, we seek to respond with biblical principles, patient guidance, conflict-resolution strategies, and communication with parents.
5. 教會與家庭 | Church & Family
孩子的信仰成長需要整個教會一起參與。
我們的兒童事工由老師、助教、志願者和家長共同服事。我們重視同工之間的禱告、培訓、溝通與彼此支持，也希望每一位服事者都能夠在服事孩子的過程中經歷神的恩典。
同時，我們鼓勵家長積极參与孩子的信仰成長。教會的主日學和兒童聚會只是孩子信仰教育的一部分；我們盼望教會與家庭彼此配搭，讓孩子在教會和家庭中都能經歷神的話語和神的愛。
Children’s spiritual growth is a shared responsibility.
Our ministry is supported by teachers, assistants, volunteers, and parents who serve together. We value prayer, training, communication, and mutual support among our volunteers.
We also encourage parents to actively participate in their children’s faith journey. Sunday School and children’s programs are only one part of a child’s spiritual formation. We hope the church and family can partner together so that children experience God’s Word and His love both at church and at home.
