• How does the description of the “tall Anakites with their big cities with tall walls” help you understand God’s command to ‘drive/wipe them out’ 
• If God’s purpose of reminding us “who we are” (fickle, unreliable) IS NOT to make us miserable? Why does it get highlighted so frequently? 
• God wants His people to remember “who He is”. He is the one who fights for them. He is the one who remains faithful even when we are not. When will you need to remember that this week? What does a response look like? 
• How does Jesus show us “who God is”?
